The initial session is approximately 2.5 hours and includes developing a spending plan that works, as well as working with any special needs such as bankruptcy, dealing with creditors, etc. This program includes free email and phone support for six months, plus copies of our financial tools with your working budget preprogrammed and ready to go. You will leave with a clear action plan to get out of debt, build an emergency fund and move forward making wise financial decisions in life.

At the completion of Debt-Free 101 Financial Coaching you will:

• Receive a copy of your working budget along with our Excel program (we'll show you how to use it even if you don't have Excel on your computer)
• Have a plan to become debt-free, in most cases within 24 months or less
• Have clear action steps that will get you where you want to be long-term

If you are close to being debt free (except for the house), we will help you invest for the future and further define your financial goals. Our time together will focus on investing for retirement as well as educational expenses. We will also discuss and review your will and insurance planning and make sure you walk away with a cash-flow plan that works for you and your family. Coaching by the Hour - For those who simply want a review of your current "state of affairs" (investments, insurance, will and estate planning, etc.), this option is available to you. Please call or email to discuss your special need, or to schedule a financial checkup.

Phone coaching is available for all of our programs if you live outside of driving distance. The information and guarantees are the same and your outcome is still based on the goals we set in our session.

Debt Negotiation - One of our specially trained staff coaches will contact creditors on your behalf and negotiate interest rates, payment plans, and/or settlement amounts. While each creditor is different and not required to negotiate, we nevertheless have had great success in negotiating with creditors, often settling debt for less than 50% of the current balance owed. This service is an "add-on" feature, represented as an additional fee for each account negotiated.
